la Palma (cont)

The weather conditions for the whole week have been rather tricky and not on all days we could find a place to fly; but thanks to Peter from 'Flugschule Touch & Go' , we could fly on most days at least once (on some days we even flew when the local flight school didn't).
We launched mostly from 'el Time' and 'Torre del Time', once from 'Puerto Naos' and 2 pilots also once from 'Campanarios'.

On my 'xc-flight' from Pto. Naos I had to land at 'el Remo': towards the end of the flight  I didn't have the patience to stay above the ridge at all times. So once below the ridge, the thermals were too weak/ unorganized to continue the flight and get back to Pto.Naos.

Flyingwise the week was not really 'super', as it was windy on all days. But it has been a nice week in excellent company, good food and warm weather to finish off the 2016 flying season - except maybe a couple of sled rides later in Arosa...
