US'16 0630 -Mt.Edna/ Summit

Again up at 0600 for a 0700 departure for Mt.Edna. This time we reached the top without any (car-) problems; we took the road up Cottonwood Canyon, which is in a much worse state than the one up Bullion Canyon.

But (again) the weathermen didn't get it really right: the forecasted 'window' of clear, sunny sky didn't materialize and with the southwest wind blowing neither Andy and I had a great urge to launch and head out to the valley floor in a constant tailwind and with certainly no thermals.
So on Andy's request we rode down (the much better) Bullion Canyon road.

We then headed towards Cedar City by way of Centerville, where Andy found a coffee shop that actually served real 'espresso'.

Arriving on the Summit launch just north of Cedar City, the winds came straight in (out of the west), but it was heavyly OD'ing so we had to renounce again, hoping that maybe tomorrow morning... (Fio this morning had flown for an hour there.)
