Still the N/ NE winds, that already 'plagued' me in Norcia, have been a problem. The only flying area that offered any chance to fly at all on Thur/ Fri has been Tocca da Casauria, about 1.5hrs drive from our hotel in Pescasseroli.
Although the altitude difference between SP and LP is just about 300m, we have been able to make nice flights on both days. Especially, as the wind has been less strong than predicted :-)
Thur: 2 flights, although the first one lasted only a few minutes - too early...
Fri: hoping to fly another site, we checked out first Collelongo, but already at the LZ the wind seemed too strong, so we didn't drive up to launch, especially as a hike of a good 100m altitude from parking to launch would have been necessary. Nice flight at Tocco with cloudbase around 2000 :-)
