US'22 (13.9.) -noFly (Wx) -transfer from Vernal to Richfield

TUE: according to the 'plan' we had wanted to spend a few days in the Salt Lake City (SLC) area, as there are quite a number of sites worth flying. But the FCST was predicting 3+ days of non-flyable wx. Therfore we decided to drive to Richfield already now.

The sky has been mostly cloudy, some rain and above 3000m even some fog, with just a few sunny spells in between.

We did a detour via the Utah Scenic Byway 31 and a road called 'Skyline Drive'.

We have not been able to figure out what these 'trenches' (?) are used or...
